In one of the most storied rivalries in boxing, Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier met in the ring on 3 separate occasions, with 2 of the 3 fights considered among the great bouts of All-Time. The 1st fight, at Madison Square Garden, was billed as the Fight of the Century, and lived up to the billing as “Smokin’ Joe” defeated Ali in a Unanimous Decision in 15 Rounds. The 2nd fight, also at MSG, ended in a UD for Ali after 12 exciting rounds. The final bout of the trilogy, the Thrilla in Manila, is widely considered to be the greatest fight in boxing history, with Ali defeating Frazier a second time when Frazier’s trainer stopped the fight between the 14th and 15th round. This framed B&W 16X20 photo, taken in the 15th Round of Ali-Frazier I (The Fight of the Century) depicts 1 of only 4 times Ali was knocked to the canvas in his career. Both Ali and Frazier have signed the photo in silver marker. The photograph comes matted and framed, and comes with an LOA from JSA.
