From 1947 through 1953, the New York Yankees won 6 World Series Championships in 7 years, including a record 5-in-a-row from ’49-'53. This Official Cronin American League Baseball has been signed in blue ink by 26 members of the 1951 Championship team. Included here are signatures of: Don Larsen, Mickey Mantle, Elston Howard, Hank Bauer, Bill Dickey, Billy Martin and 20 more, including Joe DiMaggio and manager Casey Stengel on the sweet spot. Some signatures have faded with time, and the inscription “N.Y. YANKEES 1951” is included in dark blue ink in an unknown hand beneath Don Larsen’s autograph. The ball is accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA. There have been additional signatures added to the ball that were not on the 1951 team.
