On July 9, 2011, Derek Jeter capped his run up to 3,000 hits in typical Jeter fashion, becoming only the 2nd player to hit a home run to achieve the milestone. Hosting the Tampa Bay Rays and trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the 3rd, Jeter took a 3-2 pitch from David Price over the left field wall to tie the game at 1. That he would follow up this momentous event by going 5-5 on the day with the game winning hit in the bottom of the 8th is the kind of script only The Captain could write. This 16X32 framed photograph of Jeter’s historic hit is signed in the large white area to the left of the picture, a majestic, sweeping example of Jeter’s signature in bold, black marker. The photo has some minor creasing, and is accompanied by a COA from Steiner as well as an MLB Authentication Hologram (EK977787)
