Presented to Roger Staubach following the 1960 College Football season, this Junior College All-America Team Certificate of Honor recognizes Staubach for his “Outstanding Performance and Sportsmanship” as Quarterback of the New Mexico Military Institute. Staubach would enter the U.S. Naval Academy the following season, and would win the Heisman Trophy in 1963. The certificate exhibits some minor water damage, and has a small tear in the upper right corner and pinholes throughout on the edges.
