Pittsburgh held off Arizona's 16 point 4th quarter rally and held onto a precarious 27-23 Super Bowl victory. The win made the Steelers the first team in NFL history to win six Super Bowls and this trophy is the fruits of their hard-fought victory - the Vince Lombardi Trophy. NFL's ultimate trophy is plated in sterling silver and stands 16". A 7" silver football is perched atop a 10 1/2" pyramid on which is inscribed "VINCE LOMBARDI TROPHY SUPER BOWL XLIII CHAMPIONS THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS". The NFL shield logo is mounted onto the front as well. The other two sides of the pedestal has the entire championship team roster engraved. This hefty player-issued trophy weights 7lbs-13oz and is the most coveted team award the NFL can bestow.
