Before the new face of Major League Baseball was winning AL MVP awards, Mike Trout was able to enjoy a brief stint ripping up the minor leagues. That included a stop in Little Rock with the Angels’ Double-A affiliate where Trout wore this game-used hat (that he has signed) in 2011. The black “New Era” hat features an intersecting red “L” and “R” with a white north star on the face. The underside of the brim features faint “Trout” and “23” inscriptions in silver sharpie. Trout eventually switched to number “27” for the Angels. This hat shows numerous signs of game use, highlighted by dirt markings on the bill and sweat stains on the inner rim. The inside band of the hat is home to a “New Era” Trout signed the brim in silver sharpie with an inscription that reads, “2011 G/U.” The signed, game-used hat comes with an LOA by Anderson Authentics, signed by Trout, and is PSA/DNA pre-certified.
