The Ed Block Courage Award, given annually to NFL players who have been voted by teammates as role models of inspiration, sportsmanship and courage, was awarded to Philadelphia Eagles RB Charlie Garner following the 1995 Season. Standing 14” in height, the award consists of a pewter full-size Riddell Eagles helmet, mounted on a silver cup engraved with “Charlie Garner Ed Block Courage Award 1995” and “Presented by Ed Block Courage Award Foundation, Inc.” The cup itself stands on a black wooden base measuring 6 inches in diameter. The cup mounting to the base has become loose, allowing the cup to move appx. 1” in either direction, but the trophy remains intact. This award is accompanied by a player LOA with a facsimile signature by Garner.
