This full size H&B Louisville Slugger "40 F. B." decal bat dates to 1916 and contains a colorful decal of Hall of Famer Frank Baker on the barrel. The decal depicts a headshot of Baker and references that he "Uses The Louisville Slugger Bat Exclusively." Baker's facsimile signature appears below his image, as well as remnants from the verbiage "World's Championship Model."
The cupped end bat does show some use and there is a small crack toward the handle of the bat. As might be expected of a bat that is now 100 years old, the decal does show some wear. For best indications of the label condition, please refer to the images associated with this listing.
