One of the original Los Angeles Angels in 1961, Jim Fregosi quickly emerged as the team's first home-grown star. Fregosi made the first of three All-Star Game appearances in 1964, the year this bat dates to. The early career Hillerich & Bradsby D114 model bat displays outstanding use with a crack on the back barrel. Two nails have been used to repair the crack and a mounting hole has been drilled on its handle. Checking from repeated ball contact is present on the barrel and Fregosi's number "11" is written on the knob end in faded black marker. Letter of Authenticity (1B11006) from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a GU 8.
