Throughout the late 90's and early 00's no player was more dangerous to opposing teams than Derek Jeter. Not a flashy or loud ball player, Jeter just showed up to the ball park and found a way to beat you - one day it would be with his glove, another day his base running skills, and others with a bat just like this one. Jeter's Louisville Slugger P72 model bat shows outstanding use with a slight handle crack. Many ball marks and stitch impressions are visible along with white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. Cleat marks and the imprint of a weighted batting donut can be seen. A heavy coat of Mota Stick has been applied from the knob to the center brand. This is just a perfect example of an earlier career Jeter bat. Letter of Authenticity (1B11032) from PSA/DNA who have given this Jeter gamer a perfect grade of GU 10.
