The 2000 season was another stellar campaign for Pedro Martinez. In winning his 3rd American League Cy Young Award in 4 years, Martinez won 18 games against just 6 losses, striking out 284 batters in just 217 IP while compiling a miniscule 1.74 ERA. This 2000 Boston Red Sox button-down home jersey features “RED SOX” across the chest in red-on-navy blue stitched tackle twill, with Martinez’s #45 on the back in matching style. Red piping runs around the neck and down the front on either side of the buttons, with the official MLB logo stitched on the back collar. The front tail of the jersey features a “Russell Athletic Authentic” tag with a white strip tag beneath that reads “2000”, along with 2 tailoring tags indicating “2” Extra Length” and size “46 100% Polyester”. It has Pedro’s customary custom hemmed sleeves, a must on all of his legit gamers. The jersey is certified game used by MEARS.
