This grey, button-down Houston Astros road jersey was game worn by Jeff Bagwell during the 2003 MLB season. Bagwell put together an outstanding campaign at the age of 35, belting 39 home runs and driving in 100 runs while batting .278. “HOUSTON” is scripted across the chest in maroon on white on black tackle twill, above a solid black #5. The back features a “BAGWELL” nameplate above a #5, with both name and number in matching style to the lettering on the front. The MLB logo is stitched on the back collar, while the left sleeve features a Texas State patch above a Majestic stitched logo. An STS-107 patch honoring the lost Space Shuttle Columbia crew adorns the right sleeve. A Majestic Authentic manufacturer’s label is found on the front left tail, with a small box tag reading “52”. The jersey shows good game use with pilling on the front as well as on the left side and is accompanied by an LOA from noted game use expert Dave Miedema.
