Don Larsen’s Perfect Game in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series vs. the Brooklyn Dodgers has forever cemented his legacy in baseball lore.  Larsen has signed 3 items in this lot, each commemorating that historic achievement.  Included here are:

  • Official Selig Major League Baseball, signed by Larsen in blue ink on the sweet spot, along with the inscription “Perfect Game 5 1956 World Series vs. Brooklyn Dodgers”.

  • A 1956 Yankees Official Program and Score Card, signed across the bottom in black by Don Larsen with the inscription “1956 World Series Perfect Game October 8, 1956, 1:05 pm” (Unrelated but still of interest note on this item: the centerfold score card in this program has been filled out in pencil, and contains the batter by batter box score from the Yankees 5-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles in the 2nd game of a double header on May 13, 1956 at Yankee Stadium. (Click Here)

  • A copy of the October 1956 World Series issue of “The Original Baseball Magazine”, featuring an image of Casey Stengal on the cover.  Across Stengal’s chest, Larsen has signed his name in black and included the familiar inscription “1956 World Series Perfect Game October 8, 1956 1:05 pm”.

Each of these 3 items comes with a COA from PSA/DNA.
