That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”  Simply one of the most iconic moments in human history, Neil Armstrong’s words as he stepped from the Lunar module onto the surface of the moon still invoke chills nearly 50 years later.  Sometime later it was revealed that Armstrong, a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity during his college years at Purdue University, had taken his fraternity badge to the moon (although he did not pin it to the American Flag that was left on the moon, as some have claimed). Click Here.  Hearing this anecdote adds a bit of gravitas to this particular photo, which Armstrong has signed in black sharpie along with the inscription “To the Brothers of New York Epsilon Sincere Good Wishes YITB.”  YITB (“Yours in the Bond”) is a common closing used when addressing fellow fraternity members.  It is evident that Armstrong truly did sign this photo with sincere good wishes for his fellow Greeks.  It should be noted that the photo has some slight water damage and creasing throughout, and is damaged in the lower right corner, possibly by tape being removed.  Regardless, this thoughtfully inscribed and signed photograph gives a glimpse into the personality of America’s most famous Astronaut.  The photo comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA.
