In just 5 short years, Bryce Harper has made the ascent from #1 overall draft pick in 2010 to National League MVP in 2015, with the 2012 NL Rookie of the Year award thrown in for good measure. Harper wore this Washington Nationals home jersey on August 27, 2013 at Nationals Park in Washington D.C., collecting 2 hits in 4 at-bats and scoring the deciding run in a 2-1 victory over the visiting Miami Marlins. On the front of the jersey, the Nationals “W” script logo sits on the left chest, opposite Harper’s “34”, both in red and navy tackle twill. Red and navy blue piping circles the neck and runs down the center of the jersey, on either side of the buttons. The front left tail of the button down, home white jersey carries the Majestic Cool Base tagging with an added white label that reads “SIZE 48”. The left sleeve features the Nationals logo patch above a stitched Majestic logo, and the interior collar holds a white strip tag which reads, “#34 48 ‘13 251”. “HARPER” is stitched on the back in red on navy blue tackle twill above his number “34” in matching style. The MLB logo is also stitched on the back collar. Harper has signed in black marker on the back #4, and included with his signature his #34 as well as the inscription “LUKE 1:37”.
