This Houston Texans home jersey was game worn by quarterback Matt Schaub during the 2013 NFL season. The jersey is Nike SKILL size 46, with a “2013” and a “5” L.B.” tag on the inside back collar and the NFL crest centered just below the neckline. “TEXANS” is centered just below the NFL crest. The jersey is dark blue with a red collar, with Schaub’s #8 adorning the front, back and both shoulders in white and red double-tackle-twill. On the back, an “SCHAUB” nameplate is stitched in white letters. An NFL Captain Patch adorns the right breast, a gold letter “C” on a camouflage background, rimmed in silver, with 4 gold stars. This indicates that Schaub has been the team captain for 4 or more years. On the number on the back of the jersey, Schaub has signed his name and number in black marker. The jersey shows heavy game use, and is tagged with a COA from the NFL and PSA/DNA, #2N 01076.
