On June 14, 1964 in the first game of a doubleheader, Hank Aaron connected off reliever Ron Perranoski with two outs in the 9th inning for his 8th home run of the season. It was also home run number 350 of Aaron’s illustrious career on the way to becoming the all-time home run king.
This official Warren Giles era (1951-69) National League baseball was the ball Aaron hit to reach that career milestone. The ball is inscribed with all the information from the historic event including: ‘Hank Aaron – H.R. #350 6-14-64 – off Ron Perranoski – Los Angeles, Calif. – Dodger Stadium – 9th Inning.’
