The basketball world lost a giant among men when Moses Malone died this past September at age 60. Tenacious in the paint, the "Chairman of the Boards" was universally beloved off the court as a quiet, generous, charismatic, funny, kind-hearted soul. The 3-time MVP and 12-time All Star reached his zenith in 1983 with the Sixers' NBA Finals sweep of the Lakers, just as predicted in Malone's most iconic three words: "Fo', fo', fo'." Proudly presented here is Malone's All Star ring from that pinnacle season. Moses racked up 10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block in the East's 132-123 victory. The Balfour celestrium, size 13 ring is crowned by a blue stone inlaid with a basketball logo and features a beautiful red-and-blue-enamel NBA logo on the shank. An accompanying LOA reads, "I, Robert Cave, upon my oath depose and say that I am a friend of the Malone family and was given this ring directly by the family in approximately 1987 as a gift...The ring has been in my possession since I received it." NM condition.
