The navy home Chargers jersey was worn by Rivers during the December 16, 2012 loss to the Carolina Panthers at Qualcomm Stadium. Rivers threw for 121 yards and one touchdown during the game. The navy blue jersey features Rivers' number "17" on the chest in yellow, blue and white tackle twill. The 50 Years of the Pro Football Hall of Fame patch is sewn on the left side adjacent to "CHARGERS" in yellow and white embroidered thread. Each shoulder has Rivers' number "17" and the Chargers lightning bolt in yellow, blue, navy and white tackle twill. Nike size 44 Q-BK label is inside the collar along with "2012" year tag and "+2" LENGTH" strip tag. The back has "RIVERS" in white tackle twill on a navy blue nameplate. His number "17" in yellow, blue and white tackle twill appears below. The jersey shows good game use with turf scuffs and contact abrasions visible throughout. There is some staining around the neck line and random loose threads on the tackle twill lettering. Colors remain strong and bright and the elastic waistband is intact.
