This 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" lightly handled - and never mailed - postcard features the twenty-five members of the "Gas House Gang." Prominent members of the "Gas House Gang" included Frankie Frisch, Joe Medwick, brothers Dizzy Dean and Paul Dean, Ripper Collins, Leo Durocher and Pepper Martin. The color tinted front features portraits shots of the St. Louis squard, while the back is blank and never postallyed used. There are also purchase instructions: "If additional cards are wanted, send seventy-five cents to BLAKE HARPER c/o CARDINAL BASEBALL CLUB, ST. LOUIS, MO. and one dozen cards will be forwarded postage prepaid."
