In the strike-shortened season just before Dan Marino's arrival, Don Shula led his Dolphins all the way to Super Bowl XVII, where their "Killer Bees" defense was unable to thwart the Redskin offense. This 10K-gold, size 6-1/2 ring features a raised logo and two diamonds on top, with elegant shank designs listing all Dolphin Super Bowls: "71 72 73 82." The band is engraved with the initials "A N." NM condition. This lot is one of a quartet of Dolphins 1970s-80s ring/watch offerings owned by a Dolphins front-office employee named Audrey Hagen (née Nessheim) who has retained the pieces in her possession ever since receiving them.
