After 8 NBA seasons with the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings, during which he never averaged less than 21.9 PPG, Mitch Richmond was selected to the 1996 USA Olympic Basketball team (Dream Team III). The team, which also included the likes of Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and David Robinson, easily won Gold, winning each of their 8 games by at least 22 points. Richmond wore this white mesh jersey, size 44, during the 1996 Olympic Games held in Atlanta, GA. USA is screened across the chest, with Richmond screened in blue across the back, and the #9 on the frontand back in red on blue tackle twill. The Champion manufacturer’s tag is found on the front left tail, adjacent to a USA Basketball team exclusivity tag. Beneath the #9 on the front, Mitch Richmond has added a large signature, name and number, in black marker. The autograph comes with a team-issued LOA from the Sacramento Kings, Richmond’s team at the time of the Olympic Games, and the jersey is accompanied by an LOA from noted game use expert Dave Miedema.
