Winter Auction 2016 Closing January 30th

When Yogi Berra passed away on September 22, 2015, the baseball world lost a legend, and the New York Yankees lost an icon. Two days later, on September 24, the Bombers hosted the Chicago White Sox at Yankee Stadium, their first home game following Berra’s death. The team honored their Hall of Fame catcher with a pre-game tribute, and then in fitting tribute defeated the visiting Sox 3-2. This is the game-used Lineup Card from that game on 9/24, used in the Yankees dugout to track lineup changes during the game. The card is printed with a commemorative Yogi Berra Tribute Photo Background, and reads ”New York Yankees Lineup Card 9/24/15.” The umpiring crew, starting lineups, available position players and available pitchers for both teams are listed here, marked up accordingly to track changes during the game. Each of the 4 corners has a small pinhole from where the card was tacked up in the dugout. The lineup card comes tagged with MLB Authentication Hologram #HZ999052, and is accompanied by an LOA from Steiner Sports.
