What better way to reach the 3,000 career hit millstone than to do it with a home run? That's exactly what A-Rod did on June 19, 2015 when he sent a Justin Verlander pitch into the right field stands. As the newest member of the 3,000 Hit Club watched his ball fly over the wall he stepped firmly on this first base to make it official. Used during the first and second innings of his milestone game, Rodriguez has signed the top of the base in black marker adding the home run number "667" and hit number "3,000". The base shows good game use with many scuffs and a nice portion of Yankee Stadium turf still clinging to the surface. The base has the New York Yankees script and 2015 date on two sides and the script and logo on the other two. The bottom of the base has "6/19/15 1st-2nd Innings 1st Base" hand written in blue ink.
