Topped by an embossed eagle design and 5-point diamond, this impressive rarity has not seen the light of day at auction since 1995—and, to the best of our knowledge and research, is the only such '49 Eagles championship ring ever discovered. The repeat champions were coached by Greasy Neale and included rookie Chuck Bednarik (#1 draft pick), Pete Pihos, Steve Van Buren and Alex Wojciechowicz, with the Eagles shutting out the Rams 14-0 in the NFL Championship Game. This size 10 showpiece rates NM and comes with a 1995 purchase LOA reading, "The ring was obtained directly from a player by a major collector." Please note it was just brought to our attention that a 1949 Eagles ring resides in a private collection.
