A fixture in Yankees pinstripes for 14 seasons, Don Mattingly earned six All-Star nominations, nine Gold Glove and three Silver Slugger awards during a highly productive career. This signed, game-used Yankees hat comes from Mattingly’s mid 1980’s seasons with the Bronx Bombers. Mattingly signed the green underside of the brim in black marker, just below where his number “23” was once penned for identification purposes and inscribed “84 American League Batting Champ”. The white stitched, intertwined “NY” logo appears on the front of the hat, while the inside band is home to a “New Era” manufacturer’s tag. The hat shows exceptional wear with the interior headband that shows yellowing from perspiration along with the interior lining. This item comes with a full LOAs from JT Sports and JSA.
