Proclaimed the “Fight of the Year” by the Boxing Writer's Association of America, the IBF Cruiserweight Championship fight between James “Lights-Out” Toney and Vassiliy Jirov was a slugfest from start to finish in which neither man gave any quarter. With both men finishing on wobbled legs in the final round, the fight culminated in Toney outpointing Jirov for a 12 round decision and the Cruiserweight title. The gloves James Toney used are offered here, and feature the Grant Glove company logo among a black, white and red motif. Moderate use and tape marks are evident. The gloves are each signed James “Lights-Out” Toney with the date 4-26-03 and opponent (Jirov) notated. Accompanied by an LOA from James “Lights-Out” Toney.
