The '12-'13 season was a milestone for the Washington Capitols captain. In the strike shortened season Alex Ovechkin simply dominated the NHL by winning the Maurice Richard Trophy for most goals and the Hart Trophy for the league's Most Valuable Player - the third time he won that honor. Ovechkin's offensive drive helped propel the Caps into the playoffs and earn him a spot on the NHL All-Star team. This is one of the jerseys Ovechkin wore during that '12-'13 season. The Reebok Red Set 2 mesh jersey has the Capitols logo across the chest with Ovechkin's captain's "C" in navy and white tackle twill. White and navy striping runs down each long sleeve arm. Reebok size 58 tagging is found inside the collar which is trimmed in navy. Both shoulder has the Cap's eagle patch and Ovechkin's number "8" in navy and white tackle twill. The back has "OVECHKIN" and his number "8" in navy and white tackle twill. The jersey has the white fight strap still attached inside the lower back of the jersey. There is light game use visible on the jersey and no tears or rips. A great display piece from the Capitols' team captain. Letter of Authenticity from MeiGrayGroup.
