Hall of Famer Kevin McHale played his entire career as a Celtic, a team he helped win three championships. When the NBA released their list of the 50 Best Players of All-Time, McHale was on it. This home white jersey has as rock-solid provenance as you can get as it has been photo-matched to the Celtics 124-121 win over the Pacers in Game 5 of the opening round of the NBA Playoffs. That May 5, 1991 game will always be remembered for the heroics of Larry Bird. Bird, who left the game in the first half after hitting his head on the parquet floor, defied all odds by returning in the second half to lead the Celtics to a historic series win.

The white mesh jersey has "CELTICS" and McHale's number "32" in green tackle twill across the front and the neck and arm openings are trimmed in green and white ribbing. Champion size "46" label is sewn in the left front tail along with a "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for BOSTON CELTICS" tag. "90" and "3"LB" white strip tags are also affixed adjacent to the label. The back has "McHALE" and his number "32" in green tackle twill.

The jersey show good game use with some light staining and loose threads on the lettering but no rips or tears. The white mesh has taken on a warm tone with its age giving the jersey a nice vintage display quality to it.

Letter of Authenticity (152370) from MeiGray Group.
