Carl Yastrzemski is one of the most iconic players in Boston Red Sox history, and his list of career achievements is impressive, to say the least. This lot of 2 ticket stubs from Fenway Park represents 2 of the most impressive feats Yaz accomplished during his 23-years in Boston. The first, from the final day of the 1967 season, is a stub from the October 1 game when Yastrzemski went 4-4 to clinch the 1967 Triple Crown. The second stub, dated September 12, 1979, is from the Red Sox game vs. the Yankees during which Yastrzemski collected his 3,000th career hit. Both stubs are PSA encapsulated, with the 1967 ticket marked as authentic, while the 1979 ticket receives a grade of NM-MT8.
