During the stretch this bat was used, the Astros star was at the start of a string of 6 consecutive seasons of 30 or more home runs, 100 or more RBI's and 100 or more runs scored. Bagwell's Louisville Slugger I13L model bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. The barrel shows many ball marks with stitch impressions with white leather ball scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the center brand. Bagwell's number "5" is written on both ends in silver pen and he has signed the barrel with "Best Wishes 98" in silver.
