Barry Larkin began the new century as the Reds most popular player. The home town boy hit a nice .313 for Cincinnati and the fans voted him onto the National League All-Star Game team. Larkin's 2000 Reds grey road vest has "CINCINNATI" across the front in red, white and black tackle twill below which is Larkin's number "11" in red, white and black tackle twill. Red tackle twill "C" signifying Larkin's team captaincy is sewn on the right chest. Russell label is sewn in the lower left front tail with size "46", "Tapered Body" and "PROPERTY OF CINCINNATI REDS-00" tagging affixed. The sleeve ends are trimmed in black and the back has "LARKIN" and his number "11" in red, white and black tackle twill. Larkin has signed the front left chest in black Sharpie adding "GAME USED". The jersey shows excellent game use with some pine tar stains and turf mark visible throughout. The letters have loose threads with puckering from laundering and some of the letters have frayed along their edges but remain firmly affixed to the jersey. Letter of Authenticity from Barry Larkin.
