Terry Cummings received 4 of the 5 NBA Rookie of the Month awards given out in his rookie season of 1982, so it’s little wonder he received the NBA Rookie of the Year award that season. Offered here is one of those Rookie of the Month awards. The award is housed in a hinged plain wooden box measuring 5X5X5 inches when closed. When opened, the left side of the award contains a black plaque reading “Welcome to Miller Time NBA Rookie of the Month”, with a smaller gold plaque mounted on the black plaque which reads “Terry Cummings San Diego Clippers.” The right side of the award houses a clock with gold hands and numbering on a black clock-face. The box shoed very minor wear, and has been signed by Terry Cummings in black marker on the front side of the closed box. This award is accompanied by a player LOA signed by Cummings himself.
