The 1987 North Carolina State Wolfpack entered the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament as the #6 seed, but they shocked the field with a victory over the previously undefeated North Carolina Tar Heels to capture the Conference Championship. Chucky Brown was a member of that ACC Championship team, and received this gold ring to commemorate that title. The ring features a single diamond centered with 4 smaller diamonds at points N, S, E & W, all mounted within a purple stone. “1987 ACC Champions” encircles this on the perimeter. THE Wolfpack logo appears on one shank with the words “N.C. State Wolfpack”, while the opposite shank shows the image of an NCAA Basketball entering a hoop, with “Brown” across the top and “52” beneath. The ring is approximately size 12, weighs in at 28.3 grams, and comes with an LOA from Chucky Brown.
