Offered is a unique formal portrait of Babe Ruth. This oversized 10 x 13 black and white portrait is matted into a 22 ½ x 25 ½ framed display and features a formal portrait of Ruth looking off camera to his left. Ruth signed his name in bold black pen and inscribed “To Louis Houts From Babe Ruth.”
Ruth’s signature comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (Certification #Z00443) and has been given the high grade of “9”.
Goldin Auctions will be donating 5% of the winning bid price of this lot and all lots in this auction to the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum.
