New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and his team got off to a rough start during the 2007 season, dropping their first two games of the season by a combined score of 80-48. Manning and the Giants pulled it together to reach the playoffs and capped off their season by defeating the previously undefeated New England Patriots to capture Super Bowl XLII. Manning wore this size 50 home blue jersey during the Giants 35-13 loss to the visiting Green Bay Packers on September 16, 2007. The jersey features Manning’s number 10 sewn on in white tackle twill on the front, back and shoulders with the Giants “NY” logo embroidered below the NFL Equipment logo. Manning’s captain’s patch with the one gold star is sewn on the upper right chest. “MANNING” is sewn on in white on a matching blue name plate and the jersey shows game use. This item comes with a full LOA from MeiGray (152582) which has photo-matched this jersey to the September 16th game against the Packers.
