The Chicago Bulls won their second consecutive NBA Title during the 1996-97 season and fifth title in seven years led by Michael Jordan. Jordan played in all 82 regular season games and this particular home jersey was worn by Jordan during 1996-97 season. Jordan, who averaged 29.6 points per game, led the Bulls to a 69-13 overall record. The jersey has “BULLS” and Jordan’s number “23” sewn onto the front of this white mesh jersey, with his name "JORDAN" and number "23"on the reverse, all in red-on-black tackle twill. This jersey shows light-to-moderate wear, and has the “Champion 46” manufacturers size tag along with “Length + 3” Champion 96-97 Bulls tag that are adhered to the left front tail. The gold NBA log patch is sewn on the upper left shoulder as this logo was used during the 1996-97 season to commemorate the 50th season of the NBA. This jersey comes with a Chicago Bulls LOA, signed by Jeff Schultz from their Community Relations Dept. Jerseys from the 1996-97 with authentication from the Chicago Bulls are impossible to find, and this is only the 2nd jersey from that season ever offered for public sale!
