One year ago, the Super Bowl XXX ring of Dallas Cowboys cornerback Larry Brown sold at auction for $89,000. Wide receiver Cory Fleming may not have enjoyed an NFL career on par with Brown's, yet Fleming ultimately proved one of the greatest players in Arena Football history, earning a 2014 induction into the Arena Football Hall of Fame. A 1994 third-round pick out of Tennessee by the San Francisco 49ers, Fleming was traded to Dallas where he caught six passes for 83 yards over two NFL seasons. It was Jay Gruden who then gave Fleming his big break in Arena Football, and Cory's decade-long career there spawned five All-Arena selections, four All-Ironman selections, and the 2005 Ironman of the Year Award.
Manufactured by Diamond Cutters International, Fleming's 14K-gold, size 11-1/2 Cowboys ring features approximately 500 points' worth of diamonds! An extraordinary bed of sparkling stones has the five largest forming a star and the five next-largest in the shape of footballs (representing the five Super Bowl wins in franchise history), then there are three more diamonds on the Lombardi Trophy shank design. EX/MT condition. An accompanying, unusual-style presentation box (EX) is imprinted with the Diamond Cutters logo and "Dallas Cowboys." A 1997 purchase LOA is also included.
