Graded 98 GEM 10 by SGC. Hall of Famer, in his debut appearance. This is the only example at its tier among a total of 307 copies recorded in SGC's census reporting. Tony Perez was one of the most important and consistent run producers for Cincinnati's famed "Big Red Machine" during the 1970's, driving in 90 or more runs per season between the years 1967-1977. Perez would eventually finish his career with 1,652 RBI, placing him 30th on the all time list. This rookie-year collectible of the popular Reds star – a tougher '65 Topps "High Number" entry shared with two other young players – reflects the most superior state of preservation confirmed in the hobby. Beautifully centered Gem Mint condition.
