Former big leaguer Dante Bichette spent 14 seasons in the Major Leagues with five different teams, the California Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, Colorado Rockies, Cincinnati Reds and Boston Red Sox. He finished his career with 274 home runs, 1141 RBI and a career .299 batting average. Offered are five batting helmets worn by Bichette during his career.

      The first helmet is from his rookie year of 1989. This navy blue Rawlings helmet displays outstanding use with various dirt stains, scuff marks and pine tar. The Angels logo is affixed to the center and brim is red. A red “BICHETTE” sticker is affixed to the brim and he signed his name in black marker on the red brim and inscribed “GU ROOKIE”. “19” is stickered on the base of the back of the helmet.

      Also included in this lot are three heavily used helmets from his time in Colorado. They show significant game use and they are all black with the interlocking “CR” affixed to the fronts. Each helmet has a different identification sticker on the brim. “10”, “BICHETTE” and “TEN” are all adhered individually and Bichette signed each helmet in silver marker and inscribed “GU”.

      The final helmet in this lot is a Los Angeles Dodgers helmet with the number “6” affixed to the back. Bichette went to spring training in 2002 with the Dodgers and played in several games before deciding to retire on March 22nd. The helmet shows excellent use with the interlocking “LA” slightly peeling on the “L” portion. Bichette signed his name in silver marker and inscribed “GU”. These helmets come with individual LOAs from Dante Bichette confirming game use and his signatures.
