The 1932 saw the mighty New York Yankees defeat the Chicago Cubs in four straight games to capture the World Series in what was Babe Ruth’s 10th and final appearance in the Fall Classic. The Series will long be remembered for the “Called Shot” of Ruth during Game 3. After blasting his first home run of the game in the first inning, giving the Yankees a quick 3-0 lead, Ruth came up to bat again in the fifth inning. With the score now tied at four runs apiece, Ruth stepped up to the plate against Cubs’ pitcher Charlie Root and not only pointed to the center field stands, but then delivered the home run to center field, giving the Yankees the lead they would not relinquish.

Offered is an authentic ticket stub from this historic game. The multi-colored ticket has been torn in the middle and has encapsulated by PSA/DNA and been graded as “AUTHENTIC” (12305792). The ticket still displays nicely and this stub from this historic game will make a great addition to any collector.
