Hall of Famer and 10-time all-star Ryne Sandberg spent the majority of his career with the Chicago Cubs, with the exception of the first 13 games of his career with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1981. The slick fielding second baseman, who was the 1984 National League MVP, will go down as one of the great Cubs of all time.
Offered is a blue snap-front Wilson Chicago Cubs dugout jacket worn by Sandberg during his breakout years of 1982-86. This heavy-vinyl jacket is all-blue and features the Cubs logo sewn on the upper and center left chest. The size 44 jacket has an all-red inner lining and two front pockets. The Wilson tag is sewn on the inside back neck and “23” is handwritten in black marker. The collar and tail are tapered with a blue ribbed material and jacket shows excellent use with some staining, dirt marks and fading associated with being laundered. Sandberg signed his name vertically in black marker on the upper right chest. This jacket comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07641) for his signature and full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
