Former outfielder Dave Parker spent his first 11 of his 19 seasons in the Majors with the Pittsburgh Pirates where batted .305 with 166 home runs and 758 RBI. Offered is the black road mesh pullover jersey Parker used during the 1982 season, his second-to-last in the Steel City.
Manufactured by Descente, this size 46 jersey has all of the letters and numbers sewn on in yellow tackle twill. “PIRATES” and Parker’s “39” are on the front with “PARKER” sewn on a black mesh nameplate and “39” sewn on the back. The sleeve ends have a yellow, white and black ribbed material striping with the v-neck collar have a yellow/black/yellow ribbed material. A 1 x 3 ½ inch black team tag is sewn on the bottom front tail with gold embroidered “39 46 82” indicating the player, size and year of this jersey. The Pirates wore four different uniform combinations during the 1982 season and wore black jerseys with black pants on the road. This jersey shows moderate game use with some staining on the sleeve ends. This jersey comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
