Bobby Cox has managed more baseball victories than all but three men in Major League history. He is one of only 10 men to win 2,000 games, earning that milestone on September 29th, 2004. Only a few weeks earlier, Cox was wearing this Braves jersey during an 8-0 win over the Montreal Expos at Turner Field in Atlanta on July 15th.
This jersey has the familiar Braves logo with the tomahawk across the chest, with the Russell Athletic Authentic Collection tag and a tag reading 2004 in the lower left. The left sleeve has a patch in the shape of home plate with the #21 in the center, the Warren Spahn Memorial Patch. Cox’s number “6” is sewn on the back of the jersey in red on navy blue tackle twill. “COX” is sewn on in navy blue on a matching white name plate and Bobby Cox has autographed the number across the middle in black marker. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated Hologram (MT 00452815), which is located on the Russell Athletic tag and authenticates both the game use and his signature.
