Hall of Fame center Artis Gilmore made the transition from ABA to the NBA starting in 1976. After averaging 22.3 points per game with the Kentucky Colones of the ABA for five seasons, Gilmore joined the Chicago Bulls of the NBA and enjoyed a successful 12-year career with three teams.
Offered is the Chicago Bulls road short-sleeve warm-up jacket worn by Gilmore during the 1981-82 season, where he led the league in field goal percentage and averaged 18.5 points per game. This red button-down size 48 Rawlings jacket, with a black collar and black buttons, has “CHICAGO” vertically screen-printed on the left side in black and white. A 6 ¼ x 2 ¾ inch NBA logo patch is sewn on the right front. The back of the jacket has “GILMORE” screen printed in black and white and is above the screen printed “Bull”. This jacket is in excellent condition with only minor toning on the white screen print. This jacket comes with a full LOA from Mears.
