Former NBA guard Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway was drafted with the third overall pick in the 1993 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors and was immediately traded to the Orlando Magic for Chris Webber, whom the Magic had just drafted No. 1 overall. The Magic wanted Hardaway all along to pair him up with rising star Shaquille O’Neal. The duo turned the Magic around from their early expansion growing pains as they ultimately made the 1995 NBA Finals.

This Champion size 46 black mesh Orlando Magic road jersey was worn by Hardaway during his rookie season of 1993-94 where averaged 16.0 points per game and along with O’Neal, led Orlando to a 50-32 record. “Orlando” is printed across the front of the jersey in white and blue with a tackle twill silver and black star substituting the “A” in Orlando. Hardaway’s number “1” is sewn on in front in blue and white tackle twill. The open arms and open neck are a ribbed material with a white/blue/white pattern. The back of the jersey has “HARDAWAY” sewn on directly in white tackle twill with his number “1” sewn on below his name in blue and white tackle twill. The Champion size 46 tag and the “DESGINED & TAILORED EXCLUSIVELY FOR ORLANDO MAGIC BODY LENGTH +3” tag are sewn on the bottom front tail. The NBA logo is embroidered on the upper left chest and the jersey shows light wear. This comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
