Encapsulated with Autograph Grade MINT 9 by PSA/DNA (Cert. #83916938). Honus Wagner, one of the Hall of Fame's five original inductees in 1936, has penned his name on this 2-1/4" x 3-1/2", unlined card. He has carefully placed his signature – "J. Honus Wagner" – in black fountain pen, above an inscription, "Pirates." A newspaper image of Wagner has been taped to the reverse; this vintage addition is accompanied by the ink notations, "Hans Wagner - The world's greatest shortstop" and "Secured in 1937," plus a pair of initials. Wagner passed away in 1955.
