Coming off a thrilling victory over the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV, the St. Louis Rams were in the midst of the “Greatest Show on Turf” years led by Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk. In 2000 Faulk led the NFL with 18 touchdowns and led all running backs with a 5.4 yards per carry average as the Rams made it back to the playoffs following a 10-6 record.
This navy blue Puma pullover mesh jersey was worn by Faulk during the 2000 season. Faulk’s number “28” is sewn on in gold on white tackle twill with “Rams” embroidered patch in white below the collar. “FAULK” is sewn on in white on a matching navy blue name plate with the shoulder and back numbers all sewn on in gold on white tackle twill. The shoulders have a gold and white stripe with the “Ram” logo patch on the tailored to shoulder-pad sleeves. The NFL Shield logo patch is sewn on the base of the gold v-neck. This jersey displays outstanding game use with helmet marks, turf marks and fabric abrasions throughout. This jersey comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
