It’s a baseball ritual that when a ball club has a chance to clinch a post-season berth, the locker room will always have champagne on ice. When that post-season spot is secured, the celebration commences with the popping of Champagne corks. This empty black bottle of Freixenet Extra Dry sparkling wine has been signed in silver marker by New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes, who has added the inscription “2006 NL East Champs.” The bottle has also been marked in silver with a limited edition 7/24. The bottle has been tagged with MLB Authentication hologram #BB242045, and also comes with a Steiner LOA and COA. Interestingly, the bottle comes housed in a 2005 Dom Perignon gift box, despite the bottle not being Dom.
