Former reliever Guillermo Mota wore this button down size 52 Majestic New York Mets road jersey during the Mets 9-4 Game 3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2006 Division Series. The Mets won that series 3-0 and Mota was a key contributor in Game 3, as he held the Dodgers scoreless in his two innings of relief in the sixth and seventh innings.

      This jersey features “NEW YORK” arched across the chest in Olde English style lettering in blue, orange and black tackle twill. Mota’s number “59” is sewn on the front center left of the jersey and in the back in the same blue, orange and black pattern. Royal blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. “MOTA” is sewn directly to the jersey above the back number in blue, orange and black. The Mets’ cityscape logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve and blue piping runs ½ inch off the ends of each sleeve. The Majestic tag, along with the “+3 “body”, size 52 and “set 1 2006” tag are sewn on the inside bottom front left tail. The jersey shows light game use and comes with a full LOA from Steiner Sports, who authenticate this jersey’s 2006 NLDS game use.
